The Set: To tie together my creative work, film work for others, and a competition, I travelled to the Canberra brickworks and took a bunch of texture photos. After the production of the Local film, we plan to have a small creative hiatus and then well be getting down to film a warped biomechanical fable about a man making himself wings from scrap metal, among other things. These were designed to capture the flesh and blood quality of metal and rust and to experiment with the atmosphere for this movie.
The Photo: The flayed plaster parting from the bricks that make the roof of the tunnels at the brickworks.
Texture: Feel free to use this for anything you want. It took five seconds to take the photo, but I'd still like to see the finished product of anything this is used in. Click download for larger.
