The Set: It has been quite sometime since I have had a chance to work on a film, and recently I was hired as an Artistic Director for a low budget first time feature, which is being made in my area. Daunting as it has been, we have moved rapidly into production of the film, entitled “Local”, and location scouting resulted in us finding this heritage shack on the outskirts of Canberra. I have attempted to capture the texture and atmosphere of the area in these photographs, helping me further my understanding of the location’s potential. Here are those photos.

Wait until I upload the picture of one of the walls from the shack. The room was creepy; three walls were covered in plastic and the uncovered wall had a series of tools hanging along it... Very serial killerish!
