The Set: It has been quite sometime since I've had the chance to work on a film, and recently I was hired as an Artistic Director for a low budget first time feature, which is being made in my area. Daunting as it has been, we have moved rapidly into production of the film, entitled “Local”, and location scouting resulted in us finding this heritage shack on the outskirts of Canberra. I have attempted to capture the texture and atmosphere of the area in these photographs, helping me further my understanding of the location’s potential. Here are those photos.

The Photo: The external fireplace.. Oh, those were the days!.. Why was it there? It made for a cool subject though!
